I’m writing as a very disappointed customer. I had placed an order for a mince pie and was clearly asked to select a time slot, I chose 12PM to 3PM. This order was meant for a special anniversary lunch with my partner.
Unfortunately, the delivery did not arrive on time. We waited well past 3PM without receiving any update, call, or message. I tried calling Crave by Leena, 6 times and sent 5 WhatsApp messages, but received only one response much later. The explanation given was that it was a busy Friday, but with all due respect, that’s not the customer’s responsibility.
What made it worse was that I was repeatedly told “45 minutes,” “5 minutes,” “10 minutes,” and so on, until the food finally arrived at 4:20 PM. By then, the entire purpose of the order was lost. The delivery person also mentioned he couldn’t find my apartment, which should have been checked beforehand.
Honestly, this kind of service is very disappointing, especially when you present your brand as a premium one. I paid ₹800 for the mince pie and ₹269 for delivery, and yet the experience was far from professional. The delay completely ruined the excitement and surprise we had planned. In such a mood we couldn’t bother much about the taste. So no feedback there at all.
Even now, I haven’t received a single message or call with a proper apology. A truly professional brand would have reached out immediately to acknowledge the issue and offer a sincere apology.
